The other day…

…we wanted to have breakfast spontaneously and ended up in the Marietta.

It is a simple arranged bar where smoking is allowed – at least “former days”.

The audience is mixed, you can find both “the real Berliner” and Berlin visitors on a flying visit and we felt promptly at home.

The Marietta offers a counter self-service with short distances.

I especially liked the music. Many old but also current English titles were played, and this at a moderate volume.

This was my first visit to the Marietta, but certainly not the last.
